- In 2006 the Sevabel became the 1st French ski lift company to be awarded the ISO 14001 certificate, an environmental management system.
- Various environmentally friendly actions: rubbish separation, rubbish bin-target on the Mont de la Chambre chairlift, bins on the St Martin 2 chairlift, urns for recycling ski passes….
For more efficiency, these actions must also implicate all the visitors to Les Menuires and St Martin : this means YOU. Simple rules and actions are sufficient: like using the bins available on the ski area, using just one ski map and not throwing it away into the nature….

In practical terms:
- Thanks to its exposure an its altitude (1800 m to 2850m), the Les Menuires ski area benefits from an exceptional snow cover throughout the season. This is why Les Menuires developed, 3 years ago, its contract "Snow Guaranteed: Satisfied or Reimbursed"
- If the snow cover is under 80% (Tourist Office official info) due to a lack of snow and that you decide to leave the resort, you can have your accommodation reimbursed and Les Menuires / Saint Martin de Belleville ski passes on a pro-rata basis for the unused days.
