Amateurs, à vos raquettes !

Amateurs, get on your snow shoes!

A system of pedestrian paths, pisted and marked, allow the discovery of the Vallée des Belleville and its riches : rivers, snowy forests, small typical hamlets, Baroque chapels … A winter walking map is available at the Tourist Office. Pedestrian passes give access to the ski lifts which are open to walkers to access certain summits, paths and mountain restaurants. There is also a possibility to visit the neighbouring resorts of Méribel and Courchevel using the ski lifts.

Snow shoe outings

In addition, there are numerous possibilities of snow shoe outings, with or without a guide, offering a different way of discovering the natural, rich and unspoilt surroundings. A path, completely dedicated to snow shoe users, links the top of the Mont de la Chambre to the centre of the resort. Depending on the itinerary chosen, there is a choice of either 400m or 1000m of height difference. This path is accessible free of charge for those who walk up and down on snow shoes. However it can also be accessed via the cable cars using a pedestrian pass. A map of these paths is available free of charge at theh Tourist Office.
