Situated at an altitude of 1800 m, the resort of Les Menuires benefits from a good natural snow cover throughout the winter.

And to guarantee the constant high quality of its ski area, especially at the beginning and end of the season, Les Menuires has for a long time, been at the forefront of artificial snow-making technology.
For the 2008-2009 season, the resort will be aquiped with 418 snow makers. The return down to the village of Le Bettex is completely ensured by equipments on the Bettex piste.
For the third year running, benefit from our snow guaranteed, "satisfied or reimbursed".
The fabrication of snow is a tough job. Behind the artificial snow cover there is a real snow making factory, with water retentions, giant compressors and kilometers of pipe work.
