Several ways to discover the joys of winter sports :

If you are going to have ski lessons, chose the 1st Ski pass directly at the ESF.

If you are not going to have ski lessons : Discover the joys of winter sports in complete security : 5 free ski lifts, including 4 moving carpets, are available for beginners throughout the different quarters of the resort and near the residences.

For Beginners and Children
 Free ski passes for children under 5 years old. A ski pass is necessary for all ski lifts. It will be distributed free of charge at the ski pass ticket offices, on presentation of proof of age.

 Special beginners’ ski pass (12 ski lifts ) + 5 free lifts , only at the ticket offices.
 4 moving carpets free for everyone.
 A special beginners area has been created in the centre of the resort to provide better security for skiers.(La Croisette). This area has been specially developed and protected.

 4 moving carpets have replaced the beginner drag lifts Preyerand, La Croisette et Les Bruyères. It’s only a small step to move from the moving carpet onto the white ground. It’s new, easy, fun and free ! In addition, parents can play with their children, even if they don’t ski themselves !

 TS Montagnettes and TSD Menuires,
 TB Croisette and TB Reberty,
 TSD Doron and TS Sapinière,
 TS Arcosses and TK Reberty,
 St Martin village drag lift. And the 4 moving carpets : Pelvoux, Preyerand, Les Plans, St Martin

For « better » beginners, here are a few examples of blue and green piste itineraries : Ski to and from the Masse sector and the top of the Mont de la Chambre. You can also ski down to St Martin, discover the village and enjoy the wide open spaces.
